GENERAL
ARUJ TV (Pvt) Ltd., was incorporated on 24.09.2007. ARUJ TV is an infotainment satellite television channel which was granted license by PEMRA in 2008 and is on air since March 2011. It is operating from its purpose-built Premises at 1- km, Raiwind Road in Lahore where it’s Corporate Office and Studios are located. Other offices are located in Karachi and Islamabad, in addition to Bureau Offices and correspondents through Pakistan down to tehsil level. Studios at Karachi and Islamabad are in the final stage of completion.


VISION
During the last few decades and specially during the last 10 years, there have been lot of mayhem in the country, which has created despondency in general public. The people are generally scared and seething, resulting in anxiety and tension throughout the day.

Despondency creates hopelessness. Businesses stop making long-term investment which results in unemployment, with its natural consequences.

Our vision is to transform these feelings into hopefulness for the better.


THEME
We are inspired by our finest cultural, corporate and creative values to present content which entertains and enriches audience. The sole source of entertainment for 80% of our population is watching television in the evening.

We want our viewers to unwind after a day’s hard work by showing positive side of Pakistan, its people, its industry, its vast reservoirs, its skillful workers, its culture, its art, its drama, its comedies. Actually, we offer the viewers a choice to watch Aruj if they want to relax in the evening with their families.

We shall offer light-hearted, exuberant, lively and cheerful programmes, structured to exude hope and confidence in Pakistan. Above all, majority of our programmes shall be fun oriented which shall give smile to the people.

We shall also offer concise news and talk shows structured to inform the viewers about current economic, political, social and cultural events and specifically about the post-events ramifications of such events.


MISSION
We believe Pakistan is endowed with tremendous natural resources and talented people. The things are going to get better in Pakistan – Insha’Allah. This is the message which we want to give to the viewers.

Our mission is to give people Hope. Hope is the biggest magnet. As long as people have hope, they shall perform and excel, that is what Pakistani’s do when they work abroad.

We shall give HOPE and SMILE to our viewers, that is why we call our self TENSHION FREE CHANNEL.

It is a family owned channel headed by Mr. Maqsood A. Butt who is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is in textile manufacturing business, trading and charity work. He is supported by professionally qualified team expert in their relevant field, and capable of producing outstanding content on subjects of interest and relevance to a range of audience.
